This picture was my first hummingbird capture that started my bird fascination. My next attempts will be to shoot a faster shutter speed and stop the wing motion. This will be my summer project.

Love your hummingbird.

You'll probably need to use a flash to really stop those wings.

I just read an article that suggested not using a flash. If I can increase my shutter speed, and still hold steady, well then I'm game. If all else fails then the flash will be on hand. Thanks for the suggestion Larry.

Off to a great start Sunnybuck! Use a flash to stop the motion :-)

Thanks Sharon, I would like to see if faster shutter speed will improve the motion first, then if needed the flash will be available.

Windows 8.1 upgrade available soon to 10, go for it

Sorry I missed the challenge RR but paid work is full on and new exhibition starts Saturday, just have no time, but will post some examples

Windows 10 is supposed to be released on July 29th. It is also said that those who have Windows 7, Windows 8 or 8.1 will be offered the upgrade for free. The only thing confusing me is that Windows 10 will not have "Media Center" on it. Will that affect photography applications?

Some more blurring ~

What a great smile on Ansley, I wouldn't have notice the odd position of her arm, if you hadn't pointed it out.

Here is one where I had to shoot a cheetah through a fence, fence is slightly blurred, cheetah is in focus. :)

I join Judy, Nice shot through the fence.
