The Universe could not be the intelligence because it could not have created it self, it would require a first cause in order for it to be created.

The constants are not only required for life on earth, it is also required for the universe to even exist at all. To say the if the values of the constants were any different that some other form of life could be pondering is pure speculation and not based on observable science.

if you are inside of time and space, it looks like cause and effect, if you exist outside of time, they are one and the same...

In short, a monk asked his teacher for enlightenment, the teacher told him to sit looking through a slit in the fence, every day for a month from dawn to dusk and then come tell him what he has learned.
So the monk does this, he sits in a field staring through a slit between the slats of a fence. He watches the cows go out to pasture in the morning and return at night... 30 days of this.
Then he returns to his teacher and states, triumphantly....

I know the story and not really interested in the diversion, has absolutely nothing to do with the Cosmological Constants (fine tuning) that almost ALL scientists agree with, they just don't agree with the cause. You nor anyone else can refute such evidence of Intelligent Design.
Just curious, you have only been a member (at least under this name) since May 8, 2015 and have only posted in the Attic section with the exception of your introductory...why is that? Are you someone that was kicked off and now under incognito?

I don't really understand atheists or Christians or the tea party, the name calling gets a bit old...seems like everyone has their pet adversary or adversaries that are constantly bickering as well as allies... but like I've said, I'm more into post-processing than snapping the shutter, and currently I'm trying to figure out special-effects for videos... so the attic is just a little vice to procrastinate and catch up on the latest news.

It wasn't for what you said but the intent behind what you said, wasn't hard to read into your sarcasm. By the way, my postings were not intended to convert anyone, I now post them for a viable alternative view on the origin of life and evolution vs Intelligent Design + Creation.

Plain and simple, Rac, you miss the boat again.:
-origin of life not known
-evolution is based on science
-Intelligent Design is superstition that is not based on science
-science and superstition are in different realms
-science and superstition do not overlap
-thus, science cannot be used to justify superstition
Bottom line, Intelligent Design has nothing to do with evolution. Rac, you belittle both science and faith with your nonsense. You continue to fool yourself Rac, and you are fooling no others.
