While the battle, "to use, or not to use a filter", rages on...., what I want to know is how much CASH do you have invested in filters?!
I don't want to know WHAT you have, just how much you have spent.
Weather they are UV's, ND's, CPL's, glass protectors, screw-in, drop-in or holder mounted, I don't care!!
How many filters do you have and HOW much cash wrapped up!
C'mon, don't be afraid, this is NOT confrontational!

Me..., about 10 filters and about $250 total!

YOU..., don't be shy, you're among friends..., step right on up to CONFESSION!!!

Must be all old film filters?? No?
I saw the coolest thing one time. At a camera store, which has since closed, hanging in the front window, they had a Mobile hanging in the corner that had been made out of about 25 different filters. All different colors and sizes.
If I ever collect enough filters I'm gonna make one!!!! Super COOL !! ;-)

That mobile sounds really neat.

I have a handful of COKIN NDs and neutral gradients, and one decent-ish round polarizer. . . somewhere around $100.

Girl....., that's what's wrong with the colors on that Nikon of yours, you need $300 filters!!! Then the colors will be sweet!!!
Use yours to make a mobile!

42 are old 49mm filters for my spotmatic, paid like a buck apiece in the 70's, every color and shade they had.
Actually used about 3 of them.

LOL. Yeah, I've read they are crap for filters, but I haven't used them. . . just have them. . . er. . used the polarizer once, maybe twice.

I once had lots of cool filters for shooting film, but those are gone and it doesn't count here.

(By the way, I'm getting some lenses for the CANON too. I'll get the $300 filters for it. )
