Iphone6 Vs. GalaxyS6
I hope this is appropriate for this section. Just considering the photo capabilities of the two phones have any of you used either one/both enough to give a recommendation? I really like my S5 but I have a Mac and want the iPhone synch abilities it offers. Your thoughts are appreciated...

Get the iPhone. It really does compliment all your other Mac devices. I have the S6 and love it but I know that you'll like the iPhone with your other devices.

If your mac is later than 2012 they will wirelessly sync. pre 2012 you have to use a cord. Same as with the Samsung.

Hi Jethro, are you saying the S5 will synch with my Mac? Does it need some app to do that?
Thanks,
Thom

Yes, it should sync thru iTunes. My old Samsung did on my 2011 iMac. I had to use the usb cord that came as part of the charging cord, but it was able to sync thru iTunes. The new phone will do it as well with the transformer part off the charging cable.
Agreed, The iPhone will sync, with your mac device, and therefore everything will be in unison
I'd say go for the iPhone. I got a Samsung Note 3, b/c I love the big screen and iPhone was still small screen at the time. I know Samsung is supposed to have a good camera, but I hate mine; iPhone's is much better. Plus, though you can, in principle, sync a Samsung to a Mac, it's just not nearly as easy.

You also might wanna google photography using each of those phones because of your question. No question about the iphone working with the mac you already have, so it may boil down to the photo capability of each.
I have a friend that is a superb photographer using the iphone and has had many of her pieces hanging on the walls of our state capital building and sold many of those.
Galaxt6 a much better camera
T, before I got my I 6, I looked at several shootouts at the time. If I recall the Galaxy had more mp but the tester thought the I 6 camera was better regardless.
T, I'm starting to sound like an old Nikon user now, but I've been using an iPhone since everybody said they were just toys(08) and a fad. A 12"x18" Galaxy won't change me!!!

Sharpie .... If I would do an analogy, I'd say that an iphone is the Nikon of smartass phones and the Samsung the Canon. Since you are a Canonite, you should be toting the other line.
OP, the S6 should do just fine. I use the Note 4 and am extremely pleased with what it can do in a pinch (I am not a big fan of phone cameras) when I don't have the big guns with me or don't find it appropriate to get them out. The S6 betters what the Note4 has to offer.
