Eagle Hawk is a very interesting bird-another I've never seen before! Thanks for sharing!

Many thanks for all comments.
Last one - it has rained for most of the day.... encouraging these critters and then I took a wet gladiolus inside and tried to get a good macro.
Time to cook....
Lovely shots I've looked at today, as usual.

Awesome snail!

Thank You Simon, feels really weird that I have no kids in the same state let alone the same continent!

Wow.. just cruised through the last 19 pages of fabulous pictures...its been gray, cloudy, and chilly here all week and now today - no change... my photo mojo went somewhere else... so no new photos right now...

However I want to say Thank You to all who have served for our Freedom and our Country and a special thanks to the my brothers and my Father who led the pack...

What a wonderful dedication to them!

Beautiful images, Richard.

Friday May 15th, the rain was falling gently on the canopy over the ground where two special people were laid to rest in Omaha, NE. Another WWII Veteran and his Rosey the Riveter wife would have celebrated their 73 wedding anniversary on Saturday the 16th. Appropriately they are at rest together forever. We honored their Greatest Generation service, commitment to family, love of friends, humor, Czech heritage, and of course Corn Husker Football!

Thank you for this, today is the day to honor those who lost their lives to keep us safe.

No rut...just something you like doing! Two very nice pictures. I tend to favor #1...not 100% sure why. Just do! :-)

Thank you. #1 has a formal portrait feel to it, I think.
