Not the best of pics, but I did shed some tears! She's off to Tuscany & Athens for 7 weeks in a study abroad program through UT Austin.

pg 1 These are beautifully taken Richard. So wish I were able to be in Portland to benefit from some of your tuition; in the meantime I so enjoy popping onto the site to see everyone's work.
Step-son progressing well - just speech/memory still very poor but physically he is almost 100% now thankfully. Just takes up a lot of my 'spare' time so don't get to visit site often enough.
We went out onto Exmoor yesterday for a stroll. Met some sheep!

pg 2 - What fun she will have.

My boy came on a full term's swap to University in Austin during his uni days back the late '90's. Missed him so much we came to visit Texas and him for 3 weeks which was a fantastic trip! He had a ball and loved it too.

Love them. #1 - Usually a centered subject does not work well. But somehow the bokeh effect created a second subject of interest in the background...especially on the right that makes the eye move about. Very nicely lit by the way! Good lighting in #2 also.

Beautifully captured Suejay! I think I told you this before, but we visited there in 2012! Beautiful country!

pg 2 - It is lovely countryside. Your lamb seems a bit older than mine so wondering what time you were here and why did we not meet up?! Missed opportunity methinks.
Hope you saw some of our Exmoor ponies - yesterday they were way away so did not get to photograph them sadly - and did you see the Highland Cattle that are sometimes on the moor also?
