Day 79.

I really like that last one. Could you get inside?

Thanks. It is private property and they won't allow anyone inside-pretty run down maybe not safe.

Love your pics of the mill, especially the last one!

Welcome to Day 79 :) With all the new people that have joined us recently .. I thought we would take a personal day of sorts. We all come from different backgrounds,
live in different parts of the world, but there is one thing we all have in common. Photography. I have the camera with me everywhere. Some days I will go to a specific
place to take photos, but other days I just ride around and shoot whatever grabs my attention. A lot of times I'll be sitting at a traffic light and grab the camera
real quick to capture some moment in time. Other times I'll be driving and see something and slam on the brakes, get out and get the photo. Hopefully I'm not the only
person in here that does weird things like that LOL .... So I was wondering ... What Makes You Slam on the Brakes to Get the Photo ? Here are some things that I always
brake for. I look forward to seeing what makes you slam on your brakes :)

Nice photos, but the 'good landscape" has a serious need for post-processing love. Not all scenes can yield an image that is good right out of the camera, regardless of what you do with the camera. Good landscape is a good example of that.

That's a point that should be clear in any discussiion of basic digital photography.

Way too many people think all pics must be post processed.... I personally like the "Good Landscape" as is. Photography is much better if the proper time is taken to get it "in Camera" but I do agree that SOME pictures can be enhanced with PP.

I am glad you are taking time for yourself during the day - it will help you help Sissy.

The camera is not an artist; what it sees is limited. A camera does not like strong value contrasts, so only the photographer can make decisions about how to give the viewer of an image something resembling the experience of being at the scene. There's nothing wrong with "in camera" images, but more often than not they are not much more than sources of information.
