Northern Lights are something that amaze me every time I see them. They are truly awesome! To think a storm 93 million miles away are responsible is mind boggling.

Nice shots! That's an interesting composition with the train. That makes two days I've missed this last week. Work keeps getting in the way, also.

I went to Fairbanks for 3 days and it was cloudy the whole time. I was bummed.

I also think they're awesome shots. How long was the exposure, and was it a major challenge to get this good of a shot?

Thanks for the great photos. I knew there was someone on this forum that had the opportunity to shoot them during this last solar activity. Too bad you didn't get a good video. Last time I was up there, I had only a film camera. Shows you how long it's been, huh. Guess I need to stop there when returning from a shoot, but it's going to be another 5 years for another solar storm like this though.

wow, beautiful, I'd love to see the northenlights, but with people like yourself taking amazing shots like this i feel as i have seen them, thankyou for sharing.
