Mark 3:22-30 states,

In Matthew 12:31-32, Jesus says to the Pharisees,

“Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come” NKJV, emphasis added.

Thanks Mike. Another seeming contradiction.

Beelzebub and Solomon had quite a battle to determine who was the greater sorcerer, and Jesus, the more recent sorcerer, implied that his powers (magic tricks) were greater than those of Solomon (Matthew 12:42). The Solomon and Beelzebub apocryphal script never made it to the Bible, but the Jesus insinuation that hat he was the better scourer than Solomon did make it.

So much left outside when the Bible was assembled. But of course we were given what the men who wrote the Bible wanted us to believe.

James, you harp on about Jesus and the Bible way more than any of the Christian faithful on here. If you don't believe ....let it go.

Mark 3:28 for all of the passages. They are easy to find, and no one is trying to hide anything. Why should they waste their time doing so?

I don’t understand why the atheists here get so worked up about religion and what believers believe. If someone were to ask where the Easter Bunny got his eggs would they participate in a big argument over the issue? My guess is that most would consider it ridiculous, laugh and move on. If they truly don’t believe in God and they truly believe the whole God thing is a fairy tale then why do they not just smile and move on? Why do they all get so worked up over something they believe to be a myth?

I think that Thor and Zeus were homosexuals and Mercury was a cross dresser, let the battle begin.

This is not about the "Easter Bunny" or about "fairy tales" (your words).

Mark 3:29 But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin.

Makes a bit of a difference when you read the whole statement doesn't it.

Who is to say what another believes? Yours is an assumption?

Don't you mean that others may be wrong because they do not believe as you believe.

"Sucks to be you." (your words Hondo). Thank you for you nice Christian words. Are those in the Bible? Did Jesus teach you to say such kind things? Or are you just another easily disgruntled person? Perhaps you should learn to control your anger?

And no I do not believe that "I am damned."

No James, what he means is the same thing that I have asked you multitudes of times................

WHY do you fight the good fight over something you do not believe in, why do you make your funny and silly little questions such as the first line above.... WHY do you feel it necessary to downgrade something you do not believe in, but know through my testimony That it is something that I do believe in..

Have I tried to convert you in any way..? if NOT and the answer is I HAVE NOT, why would you bother to try and keep me from my beliefs...

Why would it bother you that I believe in the Resurrection..... and you don't. Why would it bother you that I believe in Heaven and you do not.
Why would it bother you that I believe in Eternal Salvation and you do not.

Since I do not initiate discussions on Christianity, why do you feel that it is necessary to not only initiate, but to denigrate my beliefs....

I have asked you several questions here.. I have asked many of them to you before... To this Date I have never received an answer....a common sense answer to any of those questions WHY?

Mike

You still do not know what another believes, Mike. And that is not a "silly" statement.

You have NOT tried to convert me in any way, and I would never attempt to convert you or any other to my way of thinking. How senseless. I have every right to express my opinion as you do on this forum.

Again, you assume that I do not believe, but isn't that because I come across as not believing exactly as you believe? Belief, according to many, can be real without resorting to superstition.

It does not bother me that you believe in resurrection. And by disagreeing with what you believe is not denigrating your belief, as only you can do that.

Regarding your questions on eternal salvation and heaven: Some feel they need a miraculous salvation because they have accepted the sins of others from thousands of years ago. I do not accept that premise for me.

Others, who differ from you, can believe in a rational Heaven, a natural spirit and an eternity, none of which involve supernatural belief.

You have been disingenuous by saying that I do not believe, believe, believe, just because I may not believe as you believe. Perhaps you assume that the only way to true belief is the way you believe? Be fair Mike.

I was unaware that I have not answered your previous questions to your sanctification. I have nothing to hide in the way of what I believe, and I remain happy to answer any other questions that you may have. Please feel free to ask and to let me know if I have not answered them to your satisfaction.

James, I am going to reply to only two of your comments above...

1)""You have been disingenuous by saying that I do not believe, believe, believe, just because I may not believe as you believe.""

I believe that you do not believe in Christianity and or Christ.... Not because you do not believe as I do,,,,, because in postings after postings, you have made it pretty clear how you believe on those subjects.... Every 5th Sunday and on special Occasions such as Thanksgiving, Good Friday, Easter, Christmas... My community Churches have special meetings... 100% of the churches/faiths in the community are invited to participate. approximately 75% do so. This includes Catholic, Assembly of God, Presbyterian, Methodist, Potters House Ministries, Church of Christ Non Instrumental, Church of Christ, Christian, Baptist American, Baptist Southern Baptist and Baptist Independent. Every single one of these churches have their OWN beliefs...Not necessarily a difference in the Belief in Faith and Christ... BUT for instance... Church of Christ Non Instrumental...... only singing allowed is Capella whilst the Church of Christ has music...

2)"""I was unaware that I have not answered your previous questions to your sanctification."""

James. I will not accuse you of "Fibbing" but you absolutely DO know that you have not answered my questions to my Satisfaction.. I have told you that very thing almost every time I have asked a question and not received an answer....................Obviously I do get a response.. but like the above,,,, they are not answers...At least they are not common sense straight forward answers to the questions...

Here is a question that I have asked often and have NEVER received a straight forward answer, instead just a little more mumbo jumbo each time....
################WHY#######################
Do you feel it necessary to start or get totally involved in a subject that you have made obvious you do not believe in......
################WHY########################

Sorry... 3 questions
3)"""and I remain happy to answer any other questions that you may have. Please feel free to ask and to let me know if I have not answered them to your satisfaction."""

My question very simply is just above #3 here..

Mike
