The term "Libtards" should never be used. I don't care if anyone wants to be immature and use anything else, but not this. How do you think parents, brothers, sisters, etc. of retarded children think when they see this? Get a better vocabulary people if you feel you have to use this word, you're not hurting a liberal, you're hurting yourself, I don't care if you want to displease me, you're making other people look at you like you're a child.

Takes a man to admit he is wrong. Things are looking up a bit at your end.

If a wide brush is called for, I think the teachings of Jesus could be summarized as:

Judge not,
Condemn not,
Forgive all,
Love all.

Sounds pretty tolerant.

Sounds pretty much like what I think Jesus is all about.

Faith is based on our belief in the unknowable.......sometimes referred to as the Acquinian leap of faith.

For James and other atheists, etc., it should be noted that many things in life are based on a belief in the unknowable, not just religions. Your assumption that those out there who deeply believe in a higher being are superstitious, backwards, creationists, a little slow, etc., are demeaning and hint anyone inner biases and weaknesses, possibly in your lack of belief in yourself.

I cannot answer for any specific others, but leaders that break laws are subject to the same rules that we all are subject to. Some get prosecuted some get away, but the same is true for all others too. Criminals walk the street today that have been given "due process."

Remember that the Supreme Court is yet to rule, so be patient. You speak as if the court has already ruled? This will be an important decision to watch.

I am not too concerned about the ruling on gay marriage, I have long stated that the government should treat all marriages as civil contracts, I see no reason for the government to be involved in marriage or its definition. Leave marriage to the churches and let government protect civil rights under the law.

To my question about obeying the laws, personally I don't believe that politicians are subject to the same laws and rules that we are, I think that Hillary is a prime example of how rules don't apply to these people. I also think that when folks like Charlie Rangle, Timothy Githner, Tom Dashle don't pay their taxes.... then we should take note. I think that when Diane Finestein's husband's company is awarded billions of dollars in government contracts then we should question how do these things work.... When Harry Reid and our president lie directly to our faces... well? When our government no longer feels that its governing charter applies..... then why should we feel that any laws apply? When DHS blatantly is told to not enforce our laws... should any laws apply?

As far as I am concerned, people should do as they see fit, as it is clear to me ours is becoming a lawless country, but I think that starts with its leadership. If they feel that laws don't apply to them then I have to ask, why should they apply to me?

In the first place, the site where you got your information is the new religious right; extremely liberal. It has filled the churches with people who are not anymore saved, than your house cat.

In the first place you do not pull verses out of context, and by the way most of these are related to the relation of the religious community to one another. Not to those who taught abhorrent doctrine’s, or sinners. God was very loving, when he sent his son to die for the unsaved of the world. But if you read the ten commandments, you will find he is not tolerant of sin, idolatry, or the worship of other gods. His tolerance of sin, stopped at the cross. And is the only place!, you will find forgiveness for your sin. Good works morals, and false religions do not count; neither will liberal Christianity.

As far as the forgiven believers, the ten commandments no longer stand in judgement against them; but sinners are still guilty before the law. The law stands as Gods judgement against sin, and is how he will judge the world. Read Revelation 3:14 - 22, this is Gods message to the liberal church.

Rev 12:17 I guess that old dragon wasn't informed that the 10 commandments are no longer in affect for God's remnant.

We all have faith, but we just place our faith in different things.

I mentioned ONLY superstitious.

"backwards, creationists, a little slow, etc., are demeaning and hint anyone inner biases and weakness" (those are your words, not mine).

Superstitious is not a bad word. You should look it up. For those unable to see hope and the value of forever in a natural, rational world, then the world of superstition is for them. I am happy for those, in either camp who find peace of mind according to their own needs and beliefs, whether they differ from mine or not.

I truly see that we all need hope and faith, but the world of superstition is just not part of my world of hope and faith, yet I continue to have hope and faith. Please do not belittle me for my belief. Just joking, it is ok if you do. It does not bother me at all.

Do you suppose that your belief that I am an atheist (your word) stems from your lack of understanding of others that may believe differently than you?

I wholeheartedly agree with your first paragraph. I could not care less about what others do between the sheets of their own bedrooms, as long as it is mutually agreeable and does not physically/mentally harm either or spread disease in the public should the union dissolve.

However, I am a law-abiding citizen. Our laws must apply to all of us or we will shall surely have anarchy down the road.

I have no respect for our government so I see little reason to do anything other than what my conscious directs.... Laws written by the lawless have little meaning to me.

James, over the course of time you have either I plied or used those terms.....fess up, brudda! I am well aware of the basic definitions of words, so again, please don't be so condescending.

My post was not only directed at you, so don't be so thin skinned.
