Thank you very much Bill. It was to high overhead for the tripod so I handheld it.

Wow.
You need to get them to wave out a window next time. :-D
I checked my back yard locations and don't have a clear shot for tonight's passing.
Fiddlesticks.
But now that I know, I can keep an eye out for future sightings.
Thanks!

I did get a glimpse tonight through a hole in the clouds. I used our 10x 50 binoculars.
Maybe tomorrow if the storm breaks early?
Should be 20 degrees up from the horizon. 20:00:08 HRS

Are you sure this isn't Dr. Who and his Tardis?
Nice job Craig.
Full Frame, wouldn't that make it 1200mm with the 2X?
;)

Sounds like a good idea, I'll pull out the 10 x 50's myself.

Thank you Jim. I shot at 500mm on the Lens for it's best focus setting.
So 1000mm is correct.
Craig

I'm going to scout yet a third placement for my tripod today in hopes of a shot with my current telescope.
But at the low angle, I have a few large distant trees and hills in the FOV.
And, I don't have a 2X doubler, you cheater you.
I'll get a fussy bright lump...
Say, maybe I'll go all movie on you?
Clear Skies and best hopes for your viewing, Craig.
Off the wall question for you guys:
Will a tracking mount track satellites or the ISS?

See. You didn't mention that little detail.
Thanks. :D
