That picture has been around for quite a while. I wonder two things: What's wrong with that guy, and is it a genuine photo? Also, who's taking the picture of him in that same area?

Photo manipulation was my immidiate thought too. His feet would have had very intense burns at this point, moments away from becoming charred enough to require amputation. Besides, he wouldn't be able to breath at all.

Yeah, there's too much wrong with that for it to be real.

I think he will need a prescription to Lyrica for many reasons.

LYRICA is indicated to treat fibromyalgia, diabetic nerve pain, spinal cord injury nerve pain and pain after shingles. LYRICA is also indicated to treat partial onset seizures in adults with epilepsy who take 1 or more drugs for seizures.

Maybe, although I would expect a more blurred background. I guess we'll never know the real story.

Just one of the many ways to avoid condensation when shooting in humid environments.

Maybe, maybe not, but the photographer looks a LOT like Steve McCurry! ;-)

If you look it up you'll find the photo was staged. The guy was really there, but lighter fluid was put on the tripod and shoes then ignited. The flames and other areas were also likely enhanced.

The guy had the thing set up because he just wanted a dramatic looking picture for his dopey Facebook page.

That sounds about right. I think I'll go out back and try that later. Well, maybe not. :D
