SEVERE GAS ATTACK

It occurred suddenly yesterday and without warning. My wife was not home so no chance of getting any help from her. Then, the worse: I ordered the full bundle of Topaz Labs software. Naturally, when she returned home, I did not mention this attack to her. I will never lie to her but she is, nevertheless, on a "need-to-know" basis.

Question for all of you: If you use software from Topaz Labs, what are your few favorites? I've noted recently some of you have posted really neat pictures using Glow and Impression.

Thanks.

I most use Remask and Clarity. Sometimes Adjust and Denoise.

You should have told her about your intentions beforehand ( I don't understand why you choose not to)! I guess you don't honor the "need to know"basis.

I've recently tried BW Effects2 with some success in early days. I have not yet tried any of the other packages. Am considering Adjust and Clarity.

Adjust is my first choice when tuning any image, particularly after I learned to use the right side sliders.

I also use Simplicity on its own layer so I can vary opacity to apply light doses of Buz Sim on selected areas.

Denoise mostly, also Detail, Clarity, B&W and Adjust. The best way to access the Topaz modules from LR5 is the PhotoFx that acts as an interface between LR5 (and other editors I'm sure) where PhotoFx is the plug-in editor where images are passed back n forth from Lightroom.

The way I do it is make a really awesome picture of her and show it to her and then when she is really happy with the results then show her this really cool software I found. ;)

I use Adjust, Clarity, Restyle and Simplify. I often use them at reduced opacity on a layer, accessed through Photoshop. They are all pretty fun stuff for creative processing. You can easily get carried away and make a mess though.

I feel for you.

At my age, I never trust a fart.
