William - yes! I asked.
Most excellent, are you going to keep it or send it back?

Thanks for the excellent sample images, orionmystery. If that lens had automatic aperture control, auto-focus, and was available in an M43 mount, I'd buy it in an instant! If it just had automatic aperture control & an M43 mount, I'd probably buy one in an instant.

M4/3 mount is easy, just buy a pass through adapter. Pick your favorite flavor:

Thanks, A-PeeR. I already have a Metabones EF to M43 smart adaptor, and have had mixed results with it. There's a lot more mechanical play than I expected, and sometimes my camera completely locks up when using the adaptor - it won't even turn off with the power switch! So I'd MUCH prefer having a native mount lens.

Glad you mentioned this. I have been eyeballing the MetaBones EF to M43 adapter. Sounds like I may want to wait until version II comes out.

So has anyone used this lens on an SLT or mirrorless camera with EVF, live boost? I am eager to know if the EVF works even with full flash setting of around 1/200, F11, ISO100 - 200.
