Am I the only person out there having trouble making time for all the networks? There is twitter, facebook, blogging, etc.. I rather be taking photography but it seems the way to get your photos out there is social media.
How is everyone here finding the time to keep up?

I'm retired, so I have all the time in the world.

Pick one...I do Facebook because my family is on there. Also check out sites like Viewbug.com or gurushots.com - again, just pick one or you'll find yourself spending more time using the computer than you are the camera.

I can't be bothered with any of them. I do not feel the need to me constantly in contact by electronic means. But then I'm not trying to sell photographs.

 I agree completely! But I've found Facebook to be an easy way for family to communicate. I do post pictures, some are available to everyone, most are limited to family.
I don't actively try to sell my pictures, it takes more time than I care to devote it, but I have made several sales on Facebook from the pictures I've posted as Public. They contacted me and asked if I was interesting in selling my pictures, of course I said absolutely not...NOT!!
And I've seen posts from Facebook about selling your pictures on FB but I've never checked it out.

Can't stand um. Don't waste time using them. I find this photo web blog forum enjoyable however. Rest of my time is spent creating art, architecture, teaching, playing guitar, and avoiding gagets...especially FB and cell phones.

Why keep up?
If you'd rather be out taking pictures then do it.
I do not do face-book,twitter or blogging, which gives me ample time to take photographs and work.
I find social media sights totally unnecessary to my way of life. They are a very lazy way of communicating - in fact they are most often not real communicating, and I don't need to communicate with friends of friends of friends....
There are plenty of web sites dedicated to showing pictures for sale.

Ignore them all and enjoy life, photography, the places you go, the people you meet and the food you eat on your travels with your camera.
I'm so grateful to hear all the down remarks about the blossoming social media we seem to be caught up with. I thought I was the old grouch that couldn't stand them, which my own kids revel in, but not for me. For one, if I wanted to steal your identity Facebook is where I'd start. And I sure as hell don't care for the garbage some folks post. Unbelievable.
