Look, would you all quit talking about me? To paraphrase M*A*S*H, "Paranoia is painful."

OK, I taught a small lighting class last night for a small club. Our model (kid from one of those modeling schools) failed to show up. I actually stepped in and posed as the model for the hands on portion.

When looking at all the portraits, I realized that there is something seriously wrong with digital cameras these days. When my photo was taken with film, I looked much younger, less fat, and had hair. Something in these sensors make me look terrible!

You were younger, thinner and had more hair way back then! :)

But you can always make your current self look like it did back then, maybe even better, through the magic of photoshop!

I have the same trouble with mirrors. Maybe there's something wrong with how they make glass.

The older I get, the more I sympathize with the faulty mirrors

By the way I had a heart stopping moment--until I saw your location-- when I first saw your photo. From the hair, to the eyes, the smile and the beard you are a "dead ringer" for my brother-in-law--fortunately you both are still alive!

He used to be very much into photography and is close to your part of the world, Long Island--well almost close.

Thank God! I took a picture of myself by the pool to send to my friends in the frigid north but couldn't even recognize who was in the picture. Was expecting to see this 25 year old study guy and the picture was a 70 year old over weight guy. Thought the camera was not working correctly

I'm really enjoying all the comebacks. I guess I'm not the only one that is seeing this as a problem.

My youngest daughter's boyfriend was giving her crap while we were playing cards. Teasing her about being an old lady. (she was tired and wanted to go to bed) I jumped in the fun giving her a rough time, then it hit me.....and I shut up.

when I look into the mirror I see my DAD , not me..!!!

That happened to me in Costco when they took my picture for the Costco card. I looked at it and was shocked to see my father.

You people all need jobs! Great topic and comments. Glad I don't have these issues, though.
