A little update for those that care about accuracy:
T5i = EOS 700D = KISS X7i
T6i = EOS 750D = KISS X8i
T6s = EOS 760D = EOS 8000D
Why Canon has these bizarre brand labels is probably best known to themselves, and has clearly confused many good people.
However, it is quite easy to find this information when products have been announced, and it certainly helps to reduce confusion if we could all try to check things prior to posting inaccurate references which only further confuses the issue.
This particular thread seems to have been started with the intention to mislead, and should probably be left to die. Even well intentioned but erroneous posts are not generally helpful.
Perhaps a new thread should be started if there is something useful to discuss about the various models in Canon's line up.
