Point and Shoot --- JPEG redone in Lightroom

This would have been an ideal situation for HDR without all the bells and whistles It wold have given a lot of detail in the dark underexposed right hand side.

I would not know how to start to do it so, tell me to shut up!

white balance corrected

white point and black point set

vibrance set to +30

tone curve set to Medium Contrast

sharpening set to amount of 52, radius 0.5, detail to 60, and masking set to 62

Here are a couple that I did in Lightroom 4 Beta. Took about two minutes to do both of them.
