You're welcome. After tweaking the other colours I revised the Temp setting to -5. And did a few localised adjustments using the brush.

I knew there was a good shot somewhere in there. Thank you very much R G

But more importantly; this raises the idea of getting the colors correct in camera before you hit the shutter button.
Trust me, no amount of "fixing" can replace truly accurate color.
My advice is to do a custom White balance in camera before you shoot, at least that much. That will get you MILES ahead of the mind-set of "fix it in Lightroom"
2 minutes with the camera saves 3 hours in Lightroom.

This was posted in the wrong place so I am re posting it here. I seem to have saved it as jpeg in software and do not have the raw file as it was converted. As stated in the original post, I see red in the models face and greens on the dog. I know I have to clean up the green grass buds on the dogs paws and when I made some corrections it only got worse? I ask for your advise in how to fix this. I have lightroom 3.5 and photoshop 5 but they wont open raw files for Canon 50D so I use Corel paintshop 6 to import it and save as jpeg. I than go back to photoshop and open it to make corrections. I am unable to get raw file for lightroom 3.5 and they want me to join the cloud.

The colors are quite nice. Maybe a little contrast in PE will make it "pop"! Just an opinion.

It was a pleasure editing your two lovely ladies.
Was I right about the Scene mode? In some circumstances they may do a good job, but the problem is some of them mess with individual colours - a difficult process to correct or reverse. Auto WB errors are far easier to sort, or, as Rpavich suggested, custom WB would avoid a lot of issues.

I showed your fine photo in a different way. It's good practice for me working on photos that I see in a different way. Just did basic retouching and a tighter crop. Your fine photo now has a more welcome feeling while viewing.
Your eye stays to the subject and is not moved towards the sharper background. You can do the same in light room, I used "APERTURE". AP
Tighter crop, softened, spotted, & added minor contrast. You can do the same, it's just practice.
It's definitely off slightly has a bit of greenish cast and also orange and yellow in some spots. I corrected using LR with WB adjustment and also local adjustments with radial filters and brush. also selectively lowered saturation..
since everyone's monitor is different it is difficult to evaluate others' pix. Of the posted ones I like yours the best. The problem appears to me that the subject is half in shade, half in sunlight. You might try to get both skin areas to look the same but this is a matter of taste. IMHO not oversaturated.
Couldn't resist a last few tweaks.....
