Time for the next challenge...Window Portrait: Photography Activity. I know very little about portrait photography; and thought this might be a fun activity in which to learn more. So hoping those who are more experienced in portraits might assist so we can all learn a little more. Maybe other subjects could also be used for this activity, i.e. still life, pets, etc.

My granddaughter was to be my model, however she was unable to assist me in this project; and my husband was willing to work with me, but only for a very limited time. Therefore I have only one example and it leaves much to be improved on.

Husbands are like that when it comes to having their picture taken. I am sure this will be a great challenge Irene and I'm looking for forward to seeing what people do with it.

Now that I think about it Irene this must be a conspiracy. I'm going to have to wash my windows.

Good article, Irene. I've never set a custom WB, didn't know how. I plan to try it. Tell hubby thanks, for helping us all by posing.

Irene, this looks like a wonderful challenge. It will probably be Saturday before I get to try it out, since it's dark when I go to work and dark when I come home. I still have Thursday and Friday to work this week. I'll be watching in the mean time. Have fun with it.
