I am new to this site and it seems fun and helpful. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with setting up a darkroom. I need a sink however the room that I want to set up my darkroom in has no faucets or the hookups, does anyone know of a way I can set up a darkroom without necessarily having the actual sink?

I have not read Roger's book but I agree with him that you do not need a sink in the darkroom. While it is a great convenience, it is not a necessity. Unless you are developing by inspection, you do all of your "sink work" with developed and fixed negatives and prints.
I still have an enlarger, bulk chemicals and other items if you are interested.
Good luck and enjoy your darkroom.
I agree. Do your 'wet work' - mixing chemicals, washing/rencing film & prints - at a convenient sink & the 'dry work' in your darkroom.
Of course the print processing has to be done in the darkroom, under safe light, but that's just three trays (developer, short stop, fix). Chuck the prints into water in a picnic cooler after that, then carry them out to wash.
And SERIOUSLY consider Nova deep-slot tanks.

Give us a better idea of what you plan to do in this darkroom. Then those of us that have darkroom knowledge could share our ideas with you.
That's assuming you referring to B&W work, color's a different animal.

From what? And how?
Not arguing: just asking what your starting points may be.

When I had my darkroom, it was in a small closet with no water. I miss that old darkroom. Loved processing my own prints.
