Unfortunately, I lost this shot in the theft of my computer several years ago. What you see here is a low resolution copy of it rescued from Facebook. The catcher was in high school at the time. He has since finished his college athletic and academic career and is now a high school coach.

Good shot. I would straighten it. Too bad you lost the original and probably many more valuable and irreplaceable shots. I presume you now back up off-site.

Look at your message count. A landmark 6000.

I can sympathize with you on the loss of your photos. Happened to me also. Had them backed up, but the robbers stole the backup! I have yet to figure out where I can have an offsite backup.

I'm now scanning negs, going through all my non-digital shots. At least those weren't lost.

I use Carbonite. Once you get done with the initial backup which can take months, it does the job. It is not the only such service but is probably the best known one. I have also used my safe deposit box but you have to discipline yourself to stay current. With products like Carbonite, you stay permanent. You also have to worry about fire and disasters. Part of the cost of living digitally.

It's that initial length of time of uploading that always scares me off of Carbonite.

I would expose it less. Or, if I overexposed it like this I would
delete it. Or I would use it as a good example of poor photography.
