As the day breaks

It had rained all night. There was no sunrise. It was all hidden behind black clouds.
Then -- a crack in the dark overcast and shafts of warm sunlight escaped through the gloom.
The lake began to glow.
It was going to be a nice day.

A nice day begins
A nice day begins...

Welcome to UHH drivered
We're just about neighbours.
Sandra, my better half, is from Delevan N.Y. and we often visit in that area. We also, a few times a year,go down to the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge between Syracuse and Rochester. It's a great place for wildlife photography.
Thanks for visiting and commenting.

Thank you Ron.
It would be great if we could have nice warm morning temperatures as well.
It was -11C here this morning.

We don't often see light shafts that pronounced so it was a good break. In spite of the cold, we've had very orange sunrises here the last couple days. The photo was earlier in the week.
We are lucky here, with only two of us plus Sudi, because we can easily leave our cameras out and ready to go when some opportunity pops up. Sudi has shown no interest at all in being a photographer. LOL.
I very much enjoy and appreciate your visits Randy and back and forth comments. Thank you.

I guess having everything automatically viewed in download is not possible, but, it sure would be nice.
Thanks for dropping in Bob and commenting.

One of the thing I like at this time of year, and I don't have many likes about late Fall and Winter, is that the sun rises almost directly in front of home. In the Summer it is more to the east.

We're both early risers here and enjoy the sunrises. We often comment on how they create such a pleasant mood.
Thanks for stopping in Gregory.
