Just wondering, what is the ratio of Nikon to Canon users with UHH subscribers?

HUH!! Now there's an actual new twist on the age-old question. Could be interesting to see how this can be answered and verified.

Do you really believe you are going to get a 100% response from all members so that your "survey" would be accurate?
I would call this an absolute total waste of time and has little relevance to photography. Get a life for heavens sake and go take some pictures.

I attended an Art Wolfe lecture yesterday. He had been a Nikon shooter all of his career. Then he was in the LA area, I think, and had all of his gear stolen. ($30,000 worth.) He converted to Canon because at the time their AF was a bit more accurate and faster. (I think this was about 10 years ago.) He says now they are equal, that neither has the advantage.

I am a Nikon shooter and feel that though Canon still seems to be a little faster and sharper on AF, that Nikon handles low light (and NR) quite a bit better. I only shoot a full size sensor with nice lenses.

I couldn't agree more. A totally useless thread.

Both.

But really don't think it matters. I dislike brand snobbery. I currently have a Nikon DSLR and a Canon SX50, and in the past have used a Panasonic and much earlier an Olympus. I love/loved them all. Each one met my needs at the time.

Currently I am very satusfied with both cameras I have. But it is possible I will go to somthing else in the future.

Kenpic, if you are actually keen on good glass, then you already know why more shoot Canon than Nikon.
When it came time to make MY choice in brands, my research brought me to Canon for the lenses. Canon makes faster glass, and all of their long glass is POUNDS lighter than anybody else.
If you think you can see minuscule amounts of IQ in your shots, you are dreaming. But the difference between a slowish f1.4 and a super-fast f1.0 lens are HUGE. And it's all auto-focus, and as you said, fast AF!
That's why I shoot with Canon!!
