Older Nikkor AI 105mm 2.5 vs older Nikkor AF 105mm 2.8

I have some questions about these 2 lenses. I am new to DLSR and am interested in macro photography. I have purchased an old 55mm 3.5 AI lens and really like it so far. I have yet to purchase an M2 extender or a PN-11 extender to achieve 1:1 ratio. I have read many topics on UHH and a lot of you recommend the 105mm lens also for macro work. Both of these are older lenses that I have been looking at on CL and Ebay.
Will both of these lenses provide good quality photos for macro work? (Or is one significantly better than the other?)
Will the 105 AF 2.8 autofocus on my D5200? (No big deal if it doesn't, I have to MF with the 55mm.)
Will they both produce a 1:1 ratio with the PN-11 extender?
Will using the PN-11 or the M2 extender produce a better macro shot with my 55mm? (or doesn't it matter?)
Are there any other answers to questions I forgot?
Thanks in advance!

Q: Will both of these lenses provide good quality photos for macro work? (Or is one significantly better than the other?)
A: The Nikkor 105 f/2.5 is NOT a macro lens; it is considered a very sharp, short telephoto lens. The MFD is approx. 36-inches. http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/105f25.htm
A: The Nikkor 105D and 105G are a true macro lenses; They will each achieve 1:1 magnification at MFD. http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/105af.htm

Q: Will the 105 AF 2.8 autofocus on my D5200? (No big deal if it doesn't, I have to MF with the 55mm.)
A: No. The Nikkor 105D has no focusing motor, and neither does your D5200. The Nikkor 105G does have a built-in focusing motor.

Q: Will they both produce a 1:1 ratio with the PN-11 extender?
A: See first Q&A above.

Q: Will using the PN-11 or the M2 extender produce a better macro shot with my 55mm? (or doesn't it matter?)
A: 27.5-mm extension (or longer) is all that is needed to achieve 1:1 mag with a Nikkor 55-mm macro lens.
