on-line training

I recently bumped into an ad for photographic training from a provider named, Matt Grainger. He is an Australia based photographer, who seems to teach how to work with models, work with different lighting, etc. I'm wondering if any of you hogs have any info about him... good or bad.

I'm a fan of Matt Grainger's youtube videos. Though I will admit that I mostly watch is videos for the chance to see Tina Yong.

He seems to be mostly into nude photography and is always trying to get you to see/purchase copies of Private Bodies.

I think beginning photographers can learn something from him, but more advanced shooters wouldn't get much.

His videos are fun and the rapport between Matt and his models is good--though he often seems inappropriate.

I like his youtube videos as well, though I am mainly watching the ones on equipment. He is knowledgeable and presents his ideas well.

Lol.

I'm still trying to work up the nerve to tell a model to "pop her booty" like Matt Grainger does.

For the most part, I haven't been particularly enamored of his models, at least not in the videos where they were prominent, so I didn't look for more of his work which included models. Maybe I should. :-)

It's a matter of personal taste. Many of his videos feature Tina Yong. Some of his viewers started to think that they were dating, with the innuendo going back and forth between the two.

I happen to think she is quite stunning.

Mark Wallace is another choice for beginners. His models usually attractive and he'll teach you a thing or two if you don't mind his very laid back style.

Gaven Hoey...I think he uses his daughter as a model and she never seems to want to be there.

And then there's Smoking Strobes....

I think I only saw one video with Tina Yong, and I agree that she is very attractive.
