Ordered an extra set of Eneloops off of Amazon for a shoot I'm doing Saturday just as a backup set (already have 8 of them charged up already).... Well , the stupid vendor sent me AAA's instead of AA's.... Looks like I'll have to carry along some alkaline for back up as well....First time a vendor on Amazon has screwed up an order from me...
Don't know how much you paid for the Eneloop batteries from Amazon but, Batteries Plus Bulbs carries them at a fairly decent price. You should be able to find a store fairly close to your area.
Costco carries them, and at a good price too!
4 batteries cost me $13.50 total,,, 2100 recycle version...

Costco has a package deal that includes 8AA, 4AAA, eneloop batteries and a charger that charges both sizes for about $25, It's been a few years since I bought them and they're still working fine.
That's fine if you have a Costco membership & there is one near you. I don't have a membership & the nearest one is about 25 miles away...As it turns out, I found another unopened 4 pack of 1800 recycle Eneloop batteries while putting my gear together, so the screw up by the vendor is inconsequential... Thanks anyway.... I love Eneloops, they just keep on, keeping on...

Why would you come onto a photography forum and complain about Amazon? Could you not have directed this frustration towards Amazon. What did you expect the readers to tell you or do?
It's like me coming here and complaining about the weather in antarctica. Good grief ...
"Good Grief" my ass ! Are you dense ?.... It's a indication that Amazon vendors aren't infallible & to buy from them with due diligence.... We need batteries for our flashes as well as other photographic equipment & as such, this is entirely applicable to this forum... I already have a claim out to the Amazon vendor & waiting to hear back from them.... If it's not to my liking, I'll disclose the vendors name.... Do you ever check resellerratings.com before you deal with an online vendor ?...

Are you spending enough at Costco to justify the $50.00 walk in fee?

Well Costco is only a $50 walk in fee if you only walk in there once a year. Otherwise divide all the times you frequent the place in a year, through your $50 to get the real cost. Let's be fair here.
Just looked up membership fees & it looks as though they are now $55 for the basic membership... Since the Costco nearest me is 25-30 miles away, I can't justify that as I don't go over to where it is located often enough... There are several Sam's clubs a lot closer & that is where I have a membership & I go there weekly... (No eneloops though)

Since they offer two people to use the card it us only $27.50 a person you know.
Yeah & gas cost upwards of $3 a gallon. With Costco over 25 miles away (over 50 round trip) to the closest one & my car getting about 24 miles a gallon, that's $6.50 every trip... Still too costly... Now if they would put one within 10-12 miles, I'd consider it... My Sam's membership cost's $10 less (for 2 people as well), has added benefits (like discount on gasoline among others) & it is about 11 miles away...

I joined Costco via LivingSocial for $55, but got a $20 gift card and the following coupons:
Exclusive coupons good for three free Kirkland Signature products ($30.97 value)
- One apple pie
- One rotisserie chicken
- One 30-pack of two-ply bath tissue
Plus, enjoy three months of free identity protection service brought to you by Identity Guard® (a $40.47 value)
The nearest Costco to me is 120 miles (one way). But I drive to that area several times a year and will be moving to where there are tons of Costco's in the not too distant future. So, it was worth it for me.
