Over all, you are off to a good start. However, I do quibble with some of the details. Where is her right arm? Strikes me as an uncomfortable, unnatural pose. The background is distracting with the objects above her and to the right. The sofa is too bright for me. It competes with the lady for the viewer's interest and the detail is washed out. However, the model's separation from the sofa is nice. The overall color is a bit on the warm side while the skin loses itself in the background. I would make it a little cooler and try a different tone for the background. And those earrings! What was she thinking?

Many thanks for the feedback. The shoot was for the model so I take responsibility for all but the earrings. I agree that the sofa is too hot. I was too lazy to fix it. the warmth of the skin is by design. I used a 1/4 CTO to warm the skin. Maybe I over did it.

Good explanations. Why not just adjust the warmth in post-processing?

I agree with ABCs comments... the arm (right) is particularly distracting as it looks very uncomfortable and unnatural; probably brought about by a narrow seat base? And the highlight on sofa rear competes far too much. Also, I think if more of her lower portion were included the image would have an overall better balance. At the moment it seems neither here nor there. On a positive note though, and for an early attempt, you have done fairly well. There is a big difference between fashion and glamour lighting, and poses, for that matter, and your picture sits nicely as a candidate for either. The reclined angle is effective in this sort of work so it is good that you have avoided the "obvious" more vertical route in your image. I like the warm tone, but that is a very subjective choice. If you are to pursue more of a "glamour" direction I would soften the lighting slightly as that field tends to lean more towards the dreamy and surreal.
