Thanks, Nikon D7000 with the 18-200mm lens. I love a zoom with the kids, let's me stand back. A real challenge with super bright sun and deep shadows. I metered off the sky for all the shots, this kept the clouds from blowing out.

Just wanted to share these shots with you. My oldest son and wife, grandkids and my youngest son and daughter,
I love beach shots. The close up portrait is stunning! Did you ever say the kind(s) of camera you use?
I just purchased the d7000 with the same lens, and I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to get a nice blurred background but I see thats not true your #7 shot is beautiful!! Can't wait for summer!
I pray you wake up this morning feeling much better and rested. I really love your 1st, 2nd & last photos today, although they all are good. Which of your lenses did you use to the macro shots of the flowers?
I used the 55-250mm and cropped them for this example.. I finally figured out that if I stand back further I can actually get a closer shot ...
Mornen all 628 am on the east coast and still dark out.
friggen feb and yesterday was 67 degrees.
I gotta new name for someone...guess who PHOTOSHOPGIRL..cracken myself up....so I dont know about your camera but mine has a screen I can use if I want with the grid on it. I dont use it...but maybe you can for a while just as a reminder....then you wont have to crop. All beautiful pics up there..especially the flower.

Silly ... I only put that grid on there in case some people couldn't visualize it .... but on the other hand it did feel good to be in photoshop even if it was just for an extra layer lol.

Thanks! I enjoy using my Nikkor 55-200mm lens in an outdoor or spacious indoor setting to capture our Grandkids doing their thing.
