White Lens - for Nikon!

Having heard from the Canon shooters that the only good lens is a white lens, I just had to try one for myself! I'm hoping some kind soul will send me a black model so I can compare!
Now that he could get a white lens, maybe SS will switch to Nikon?

Is the Nikon V3 an F-mount, accepting standard Nikkor lenses?

No, but it currently comes with an adapter that lets you use F mount lenses and retain AF & AE functions. Below are pictures with an AF-S G 85mm f1.8 mounted. This gives an effective field of view equivalent to a FF 230mm! No VR, but tack sharp at high shutter speeds. I've also got good results with the 70-300 VR, it has equivalent to 810mm reach - my substitute for the Tamron 150-600 that never came ;-)

This thread shows that "white" is not exclusively Canon. Minolta/Sony also have "white" lenses.

I really do not see how the external painting of a lens has to do with the lens quality. What they are saying is: If it white, it must be a canon so better. An obvious bias, nothing else.
