Well after reading all your helpful posts and numerous reviews, I finally got a Canon 7d with 17-85 lens. Sony was a close 2nd and Nikon was priced too high. So last question for a while, will my older Sigma lenses that I had to Canon D30 work with this camera until I can rebuild funds? Thanks for all of you many comments.

If they worked correctly with the D30 they will work on the 7D.

Stall, congrats on the 7d!
Did you wind up with new, refurb, or used?

used with lens....it has 30,000 shutter count which is a bit high but got it for a pretty fair price

Stall, great! 30 is NOT very much, it's rated for 150, I think, and might easily go 200 or more. Enjoy!!
