Hi

This is a three year spills etc all comprehensive warranty. I deal with square deal and B&H if I need to and not Sigma. Square deal is very good and service is fast

If you have technical issues with the lens it should go to Sigma. I understand the other insurance is for damage issues.

Calling them "Art" don't make them any better
or any worse. Remove the label "ART" and they
are the
same-o same-O.

I have the older Sigma 30mm f/1.4 (non Art) and the Sigma 18 - 35mm f/1.8 Art. While I love them both, they have occasional AF issues. As I stated earlier those issues are usually when shooting wide open at very low contrast targets. The newer 18 - 35mm Art has far fewer issues with that then the older design 30mm.

Quite untrue, the series is very different and far superior to anything they've made before, but I really don't want to get into a debate on it.

Hi

The square deal insurance coves all issues and any damage such as drops etc. I always buy this insurance for my non nikon lenses as a backup. This is my first Sigma and have the tokina 11-16 2.8 and 100mm 2.8. Both are great lenses

I shoot with a Nikon d610. Does anyone have any experience with the Sigma 35mm 1.4 lens? There seems to be an auto focus problem.

Hope it works well for you. If you decide you would rather have the Nikon version, let me know. :-)
