I had an uncomfortable situation regarding my Epson Pro 3880 and the rebate offered by Epson. I followed normal procedures via email to B&H Customer Service and explained my position clearly. Customer Service did an outstanding job helping me and in doing so B&H has secured me as an on-going customer. I cannot speak highly enough of their service and their followup.

I do a lot with B&H. Two & one half years ago, I purchased a D700 from them. Got it and one week later, it died. I called, they paid for return and gave me full credit. I then pre ordered the D800 and love it.

Agree entirely. Recent contact with them showed me the same great follow up service.

Ditto.
If ever in NYC, you may wish to visit the B&H camera store -- the largest in the world. I've been to the City only once but had to see the store.

I use B&H a lot and have nothing but good things to say about them. I'll even use them if they are slightly more expensive, or I have to wait longer (like my JetDrive), simply because I know I won't have any issues. They are certainly a good model on how to operate a business and keep customers as a priority!!
I don't have the writing skill to adequately explain my admiration for B&H. They define the model for business in the internet retail world.
My only complaint as a Washington State customer was that shipping could be a little slow. They just fixed that. Any order over $50 gets expedited shipping. That means only three days to Washington.
I agree with you, B&H is the best! I have done business with them many times, I recommend anyone to try them. You will not be disappointed.
They just got about three grand outta' me. I ordered on their website. I would've loved to have bought the new gear when I was in New York in less than two weeks, but that would've cost me about another $300.00 in sales tax. I also wouldn't have had the opportunity to be already shooting with it.
I'm going to visit them when I'm in the city and, just to say "I shopped at B&H!" I'm going to buy a sensor cleaning kit.
Just because...
Did I mention that, besides stellar customer service policies, every day is a "10% Off Sale" day from Washington State!

David, I buy some things from BH and 90% of the time they are great.
But I'd rather buy from Adorama, not because they're service is better but because I support Adorama TV.
Mark Wallace and his models are just SOOO much better than anything that BH can produce, I want to make sure they keep it comming for us that use those uTubes.
I feel service alone can be a little short sited as both companies screw up on occasion.
Just the way I go about it!

Can you provide a link or two to some of your favorites?
I go to NYC every Thanksgiving and I don't miss going to their store. It is really overwhelming.

Unfortunately, I've had the opposite experience with Adorama. Dealt with them 3 times and had issues all 3 times. Their customer service was pretty poor. Slow and unresponsive. So, I don't deal with them any longer.
B&H Photo, on the other hand, has been absolutely flawless in any issues I've ever had with my purchase from them. Above and beyond in one case.
B&H is the best of the mail order photo sources as far as I'm concerned.

If you do visit make sure all your credit cards are current. It's the best toy store in the world.
I just started with B&H and haven't switched because I have experienced stellar service. I would gladly donate cash to Adorama to help them keep the videos coming. I'd do the same for B&H. The only video I haven't liked was one on printing by an Epson guru who was a little flippant and talked down to us and really didn't get into the nitty-gritty. But, hey, it was free.
