Does anyone have this lens? I am thinking of purchasing. Would like someone to post some pictures at 70mm and some at 200. Are you happy with results.....or go Canon.
Thanks.

Thanks.

These were shot thru a fence at a wild life refuge last week. The Sprint Car was last night as the sun was going down.
It can be a bit soft at f 2.8 in low light if you try to keep you ISO low.
I am using it on a T3I and have many great shots at a football game and some baseball games. I bought it the first of June.

I have it and love it, but on a Nikon mount, use it on a D7100.

I have this lens and use it on a Nikon D610 and D7000. The Tamron is rated higher then the Nikon version of the same lens. (http://www.dxomark.com/Lenses/Ratings) You can't go wrong with this lens.

Deberry, I have the comparable Sigma lens and love it. Before you hand over your money for the Tamron, I suggest that you compare the two.

I bought my lens from digitalrev.com and save over $250 and got it from Hong Kong in less than 48 hours.

Here's 2 images on a Canon 6D... sorry the cropped image isn't closer but I trashed it by mistake. You will love the lens and the extra $$$ in your pocket. Color, etc. has not been adjusted (should have been! too late to do more PP but if it looked this good with no minor adjustments, it's a great lens) The lens is a winner!
