Canon rumors has a couple very interesting tidbits floating around: 1.) The 7DMk2 will be released early this fall, debuted at Photokina in August; 2.) The 5DMk3 will be updated to a Mk4, with no specifics given. The other speculation is that Canon are developing a 45+MP sensor with excellent low noise performance to compete in the full-frame/ high-rez sector and that model will only be designated with a number, no "D".
Both, the 5DMk3 and that 70-200 Mk2 are excellent pieces of photographic gear, and if you can get them at these prices, go for it! They'll be of great service to you while Canon are working the bugs out of their new models (and who knows when they'll actually even be released!). :-)
