JC, this is a really confusing comparison. Since golf is a game, and photography is a sport, I'm not sure the two can be mentioned in the same sentence.
So, let's try to deconstruct this: since the average age of both players is about the same, that's a wash!
And the physical conditioning to play both is pretty wimpy, that too is a wash!!
If I put my camera on a tee, and hit it as hard as I can, it will fly about as far as I can throw a golf ball, that too is a wash!!!
Anyway......., what was the question again??!!

Only good photographers can afford to throw their cameras.

I tried playing gold once. Didn't have much gold to start with, but had even less gold when I was done!!
I'll leave playing gold to the presidents!!

A bad golfer knows they are terrible because they are judged on their full scorecard.
A bad photographer can be thought of as brilliant if they throw all their terrible shots away and only keep the best ones.
As a matter of fact, that is what they should do, and what they will be judged on.

good or bad........ photographers don't throw cameras...they are fragile....a lot of golfers can throw a club farther than they can hit a ball.

If true, how come an athlete is paid millions and recording his achievements much less.

sorry to differ...but golfers will shoot a six and take a four....it's the only sport where short term memory loss is a benefit.

it's called digital...it's much harder to kick a field goal than it is to take a picture of it....but photos make it look easy.
