Thank you, Vicki. This is my best lens and it captures the detail and brings forth the quality (resolution, crisp images and good contrast) with help from it's E-Band lens coatings that help prevent flares, ghosting and chromatic aberrations. A great lens that, as you said, has consistency of quality in the photos. The Canon 6D adds to this quality. A great combination.

Beautifully captured, Regis. And, thank you for including the technical information with your posting. As one who still has so much to learn about the intricacies of photography, being able to see at a glance what camera, lens, and settings you used is invaluable!

Thank you, jjbrenner. I'm glad you appreciate my photo information and I'm hoping others will supply their camera and lens information because we all can learn from this.

Thank you, Jim. It is a butterfly called 'Hoary Comma'. It's a fairly common butterfly found in many northern states and southern Canada and some western states.
