i use my left eye in view finder as my right eye is crap, do the majority of people shoot using there right eye i wonder !
Just Curious !
I'm left eye dominant so yes, I use my left eye for the viewfinder.
I am left-handed, left-footed, and left-eyed.
I'm right handed but use my left eye for the view finder. Use my left eye to aim a rifle but use my right eye when aiming a pistol.

Usually use right eye, but if sun glare is on my right eye have learned to switch to left as needed.
Why do you ask?
It seems that I have used my left eye for years for no apparent reason other than habit.
One might suspect that right eye is better since it centers the lens on the head/body better providing better stability
I have recently begun to try to practice using either eye, as well as trying to learn to keep both eyes open while shooting, especially moving objects.
With both eyes open you are better able to see what's happening out of frame and anticipate movement, particularly sports. And if you are able to switch eyes, you can still do this when shooting vertical without your camera obstructing your view.

How unusual.
Similarly, I write right handed and throw left handed.
Right handed. Use left eye(dominate).
I can't remember what eye I use. I'll have to wait till I get home and put the camera up. See which eye goes where?!
Really, im not kidding. But I am left handed.
