I love stories with happy endings. Even more, the fact that there are still people in the world who are not consumed by cynicism and this is saying something considering the fact that every day I go to work I am surrounded by 1500 or individuals with less than stellar records in the voracity department.

So Chiya, when do we get to see some pictures?

That's too funny, I saw your grandson when you originally posted it but didn't do the math. The funny part is that I didn't even notice the bush until you mentioned it. Now you'll just have to re-shoot the picture, yes?

This is so nice to read, I tire of reading the classifieds and seeing people call out others as being scammers. They go to the trouble of looking the price up, probably at six different places, until they find it cheaper and "call them out". Or just say what they have isn't worth anything. People are scammers because they are new or in hiding. It is truly terrible reading some responses. Everyone was new once, let the seller sell his items, without someone jumping up and down trying to hassle him. We are all adults, yes the buyer and seller should both beware. But, why hinder the seller.

Lukan from your posts that I have read on here, you seem like such a nice person so I have just one teensy favor to ask could you please get my name right?

I just corrected it, Chiya. The Y and T are next to each other, I hit the wrong one and I apologize. And it'll never happen again. Please forgive me.

Yes, thank you for pointing that out, Anand, and you've been right smack dab in the center of my predicament.

Don't worry, you'll be welcomed back to the G.A.S. support group in May. Assuming you post enough pics. ;-)

I am a optimist. Last year, I sold a view camera, with a few extras, to another member of UHH. I packed up the camera and sent it to him without any exchange between us except our own senses of honor (that digital handshake). Two days after he got the camera, I got a cashier's check. At no time during the transaction did I have any doubts about anything except Fed-Ex's ability to find a city of ½ million people in a nearby state. My faith in the buyer was more never in doubt. I'm sure future transactions will be conducted in the same "honor system" style. But I assure you that, before I enter into a transaction of that type, I will be watching the other party's demeanor on this (or other) forum(s).

Thank you so much for the offer, but for now I found several threads on it to read over, and am probably just tired right now,
On a thread I was reading earlier today someone posted a recommendation for a book by Bryan Peterson, Understanding Exposure. and since thanks to that lawsuit against Barned and Nobles I had some credit to use I downloaded it on my nook and have been reading it. I got to a part where he is talking about focal length stuff affecting the picture and says to set your lens to 2 ft 3 ft etc per your distance settings on your lens. my lens doesnt have any thing on it that says anything about ft.
My thoughts right now are that because its late and I am tired there is just something I am missing right now
