I have a 15" laptop. I used the 'set as background' feature after I clicked download...it fits the screen well but leaves a bit on both sides....top and bottom fit well, and it is a nice non-glaring background. I like it. Thanks for sharing this.

And I have to add...it's so cool to have The Crate on my monitor!!!! :) :) :)

Thanks, glad you like it... Like I asked Linda is it set to "Stretch"? It may compensate for the gaps on the side without distorting too much.... :)

No, it was set on 'fit' but I tried stretch and redid the download and there is no distortion to speak of really. It only missed covering the screen by about an inch on either side when it was on fit and looks just fine set on stretch. It looks good either way.

I was playing around with some of my older images...
Offering this one up for folks to enjoy as a computer desktop wallpaper.... Would like some feedback on how well it fits your screen and if you feel it is a good contrast to your icons...

Enjoy....

Love that Poster Print effect.

Thanks for the share

You are so full of "stuff", Randy. If you had stopped just before that awesome spiral, I think the majority of people would never have known that it wasn't in the original photo. Perhaps you underestimated your skills, or just had some sort of epiphany. Either way, the effect totally works with the other edits. When I grow up, I want to be able to do such things...

Mike, thanks.. :) Pushing 50 and still don't know who the heck I even am... I am still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. :) We don't see the same as others do and that can be frustrating.. I have been in a bit of a rut lately, so just playing around a bit.. Cabin fever I guess.. This has been the longest Winter of my life! All the landscapes look the same. Anyway I always underestimate myself, if I didn't I would be arrogant... Thanks again... :)

Keep posting your ruts, dude. I'm 56 and we have WAY more in common than you might think. I took some icicle pics the other day and you can imagine what I thought of them by virtue of the fact that aren't posted anywhere. Some days are just like that...

You really don't unless. Ok, I have a proposition for you. I post a couple of crappy icicle pictures and you work your magic on them BUT you have to give me the dummies guide to how you did it general workflow if using P-Shop). Although I must warn you, the only editing program I currently have is Photoshop CS6. If you would like RAW we can arrange something or I can upload the jpegs. Are you up for making a silk purse out of the proverbial sow's ear?
