Thank you. I hope we get some sunshine here soon. My photos do better with detail when the sun shines.

That's a great price Regis and it will obviously be a popular lens.
I doubt the Sigma will reduce much more, the retail is normally $1100 over here.
What surprises me is that the "big name" lenses don't reduce in price so they compete more. It costs no more to make a Canon or Nikon lens than it does a Sigma or any other make...Sigma in fact are the only lens manufacturer still making lenses in Japan without the need to go to cheaper manufacturing areas..if they can do it, the other should be able to sell cheaper as their costs are much less...I guess like anything else, you pay for the name...no wonder the Bigsig and your new lens are and will be so popular.

I totally agree with you. The Canon and Nikon lenses are way over-priced.

Very beautiful shots for hand held.Regis. Question, can the canon 1.4 converter be used with this lens?

Thank you. I don't know because this lens is very new. Most converters will work on these large lenses but you will not be able to use automatic focusing for most of them. I know the Sigma 50-500mm and the 150-500mm will not handle automatic focusing, only manual.

Today I shot 6 photos of wildlife with my new Tamron 150-600mm lens. Today was cloudy and hazy so the photos are not perfect, but I wanted to try the new lens out and it worked great. Very fast focusing. All photos were hand held.

Regis.... these look great - the lens certainly looks a winner. I had a 150-500 some time ago and was very impressed - I'm looking forward to seeing more from this new generation Tamron.

BTW, what PP did you do to your images? I'm particularly interested in any cropping you may have done. Keep posting more. - Warren

Thank you very much. So far so good. Time will tell how it holds up, but it does have a 6 year warrantee.
