I am not trying to prove anybody wrong .That is the job of the "deniers" That would be like me trying to prove that the world is not flat. The science is there and you and Fox News would serve our future better by recognizing that FACT. By the way thye world is older than 6000 years. Surprise!!!

Thanks for your reply. I saw your chart and can say that the increase in atmospheric temperature can and may be attributed to the burning of unprocessed ground fossil fuels and the burning of wood to keep homes warm and factories running. Here in New England, Connecticut was nearly clear cut of woodlands for that purpose. A lot of the wildlife disappeared, including the deer, turkeys, etc...
I would be curious to see a line chart comparing the human population/temperature comparison.

No one said anything about the earth being only 6000 years old, you make wrong assumptions.
The facts are that science has been wrong in the past about a lot of things. If you do not know that you are not as smart as you think you are.

On the lighter side ... We must all agree that cow farts are out of the senario.

Train, these are great questions! Let's ask the scientists. But which ones? Hmmm....
Physicists? Botanists? Climatologists? Yea, that's it. Let's ask the climatologists - they have spent their lives seeking the truth about the climate of the planet. And they publish papers about their findings, and all the other climatologists climb all over themselves trying to knock down their conclusions. They do everything they can do to prove that published climatologist wrong. After a while, they come up with a paper and a school of thought that none of them can come up with evidence to refute. (By the way, this is called "the scientific method".)
So let's ask them: what is causing global warming?
100% of the climatologists that use the scientific method (in other words, 100% of the scientists that have spent their life trying to determine the truth about the planet's climate) say that man is the cause of the increase in the average temperature of the earth's climate system.
