Thanks. I recently posted a subject about someone saying my nikon700 was crap. and it went on for 17 pages. I just want to say Thank You for the comments from all users My camera is just that a camera and only as good as the' operater and I knew that before the comments. Thanks for all the encouragement and positive comments from the members. you are indead a special group that really care and it is appreciated.

Doug, you never did identify the culprit. I was dying to wack him on the kneecaps with my big white telephoto. I assume you are just much more civilized than I am.

It is amazing how we get that way about equipment. This ski is better than that one. This car is great, yours is terrible. This camera will make you a pro, your camera will make you a loser. I just don't get it. I ride my motorcycle and in parking lots of diners there is always talk about what is the best motorcycle. I also ride my bike at racetracks (no racing, just going fast) and there, the talk is about WHO is fast. The equipment becomes irrelevant.
