the compulsion was so over whelming that I could not help myself. Ordered Sigma 150-500 from B&H. The Big Brown truck will be here tomorrow. Does anyone know if there is a 12 step program to help overcome this compulsion?

There is but you need to forward the lens on to me if it's in Nikon mount. At that point when I receive it, I'll let you know how to cure this addiction....LOL...There is no cure HaHaHaHa (evil laugh)

2002, yes there is. You climb the steps up a twelve story building, one step at a time. Then, jump !!
I haven't tried it, but been told by reliable sources, it's a sure cure. I'm still heavily afflicted. SS

PS, no need for quarantine, it's not contagious, but rather, self inflicted. Happy shooting

There are worse compulsions that could be consuming you. As long as you aren't taking food out of your kid's mouths and feel you've got the money......go for it. I absolutely LOVE mine :D

Overdraft fees and having utilities cut off generally cause one to rethink priorities. But mainly because without power you can't recharge your camera battery.

That will not work. I have a car charger. I think I have to resolve myself to the fact that I am hopeless.
