Anyone out there any idea where I am going wrong. Elements 10 is the programme but having trouble trying to E mail photos, when I follow the instructions using "share" I come to what appears to be the last action, press "done" which I cannot find. So I goto Elements help section and find a video which refers to Elements 9. See the dilemma I am in.

I email photos all the time. I do it from the email program, I write and address the email then attach file and locate the photo I want to attach.

I save the photo to "my photos" section, open an email, address it, add a body to it and attach the photo. When I click on the paper clip it lets me browse the folders, I select the photo, click open and it attaches to the mail. Never tried directly sending from Elements

I use dropbox. I can send any file size. I think you get 3gb of space free.

Me too - I use Windows Live Mail, just have to be careful with individual file sizes.

I have no problem with "10" but have another way for you to do it easily. Set up a NEW folder on your desktop and copy them to the NEW folder. Then if you have Picasa (or get it free from Google) import all (select all) of the phots in your NEW folder into Picasa. Then select all the photos you just imported into Picasa, they should show up in the lower left of the screen which will allow you to email them directly from Picasa. You can use the original size or a reduced file size when asked by Picasa in the email process. It's real easy and if you have any questions you can ask me. I use Picasa to do it because I can send very reduced file size which allows sending to go fast but limits the size print the recipient can make (4"X 6"). You can aslo have Picasa send them as original file size - just takes a little longer.

Hi Fizzog. I email many of my photos, but I don't do it from within Elements 10. I simply right-click on the completed photo I wish to email, select 'send to', and select 'email'. It brings-up my email program so I can add the address and it's gone. Using this method, you also have the option to leave the picture at is present size, or 'reduce size for email'. Works for me.

I have no problem with "10" but have ano... (show quote)

You can only email directly from Picasa if you have a gmail account. However, Picasa can resize the photo with the "export" function (bottom of screen) and there are several size options. Then you attach to any other email account.

I had problems with not being able to see certain buttons in a program. Turns out I had to change the screen resolution on my computer so that the window sized correctly to view all functions.

Have your set the email preference in PSE to your email default account? I send directly from PSE all the time.
