Texas also has a vast variety of cities, a seemingly endless supply of different foods, Live music that will bewilder the senses and wildlife that will amaze.
In fact the only thing I found in Texas difficult to comprehend were BORN AGAIN Texans, Trans plants, wanna be Texans.

I have not picked up a club since my wife (of 43 blessed years) and golfing partner passed away in May 2010. I moved to Oklahoma in June 2012 from Indiana to be near my son ands his family. Golfed in Dallas, Plano and Texarkana. Was a 10 handicapper before I gave up the game.

Steve, having lived in Austin ( where you go when you want to go to Texas) I knew many a wonderful Texans, and a plethora of conceited, obnoxious, unbearable transplants that wanted to be Texans SOOOOOOOOOOO BAD it was funny to watch.
I have Zero issues with anyone moving to Texas because they love it. I loved my years there, despite the 106 degrees and 99 percent humidididy.

I do not mean to infer all transplants are such, and If I did not make myself clear I apologize most profusely sir.

The "concrete cowboys" are the individuals to which I refer.

You have seen them I am sure, ALL HAT, NO cattle.
