[I] still have a significant fear of breaking out the camera ................... at family functions. Total anxiety!
Perhaps that is due to the fact that, if your family is anything like mine, the appearance of a camera causes the entire family to begin acting like idiots!

I watched some of a LR5 presentation on CreativeLive yesterday, and the presenter said, "...and that's why I don't like taking pictures of people..." Landscapes, animals, and inanimate objects rarely cause us trouble. People, and family in particular, can be a nuisance.

I've been meaning to post a topic about him to see what people think. I'm sorry, but I just can't watch him. It's probably a personality thing, but I don't like anything about him: his name, his appearance, his attitude, his manner of speaking. As for his info, I can get that anywhere.

I found that Graham Houghton's videos user instructions for the LUMIX FZ200 bridge camera are detailed and well presented. Also includes info on general photography.

His work is top notch. His name is Jared Polin and is actual professional website is http://jaredpolin.com/

I love his wedding and concert photography, he works in a photojournalist way, and he's always willing to share information and offer feedback (might not be what you want to hear but he's very honest).

I took some IFR lessons from a fellow who would not shut his mouth from the time we saw each other until we parted. He had a filthy mouth off the radio; everything he said was riddled with expletives and racial slurs. Now, ever through his constant yammering, he never missed a call, always knew what his gauges said and flew like he was born to it. I was learning well, but after the third or fourth lesson, I had to quit. I could not take any more of his foul mouth. I didn't use that as an excuse. I used other reasons. Now Jared Polin's appearance and arrogance do the same thing to me. Others think he is great - and he is smart - but I can only take so much of him. It's just like you said: "Different strokes for different folks!"
