Just a small example of my life, without my camera. The other side of me. Yes I know there are shadows and the background might not be perfect. But I needed to get some work examples on my laptop. So here goes.....

I know realize that this type of phography is an art form in it self. Lighting is so important to the finished product. Taken with my protrait lens.

As a past potter myself, I can say that your works are wonderful and your glazes are awesome! Do you have a website? Any items available for purchase?

Great work, both with the wheel and the camera.

Thankyou it has been a passion for many years. I wish my photos showed them better. Something to work on.

These are wonderful. I have always loved pottery. We have a few really good pottery artists in our co-op gallery. I really like your fish, actually both fish.

About 30 years ago, I took some pottery classes. Found that I really like it; however, I have never been so dirty in my life. . .I was a mess when I would get home, so much so that I just would strip to the skin as I came in the laundry room and toss all of my clothes in the washer! Finally, I determined that my time mandated that I either stop painting or stop with the pottery. . .I still have a few of those old pottery pieces around. :)

You should get you work out in front of some buyers and pottery fans. Do they have art fairs in your area? A 10x10 popup, some concrete blocks, a few boards, and bingo you are an artist ready to show and sell.

We have one lady in our gallery who makes all sort of fun and whimsy items, some hand on the wall, some sit on a table or shelf. . .she prices each piece at $40, and sells a ton of stuff.

Thanks, I have sold plenty over the years. These are just a few of my special peices or a special glaze that I like. My house is a pottery shop on its own. But I do think it is time for a cull. I am doing a pit firing in a few months and I will then approach a few stores that have bought my work in the past. Thanks for your comments, great to hear that you enjoyed it as well. So relaxing.

Very awesome Karenn!!! I know nothing about pottery, but these are great pieces. I do carving of wood and know that these are from the heart! Very nice. I showed Janny and she want to come over for a few lessons.:):) She is a very talinted painter. She paints all my carvings and makes them look good.:):)

Karenn, your pottery is stunning - I wish you had a gallery in Maine! Every piece is uniquely beautiful, I couldn't begin to pick a favorite.

The big fish is my favourite and would never sell. I am doing a pit firing on our property in the next six months, weather permitting, and then I plan to make more of the fish to sell. Did this one a couple of years ago, with lots of others that I sold in a furniture store near me. They snapped them up.
