I used to get a chuckle seeing of all the flashcubes going off in football and baseball stadiums, thinking how Kodak was making a fortune from all those properly exposed, back-of-head photos from the nose-bleed sections.

I still see it at any stadium event. All those little twinkles lighting up a huge stadium. :D

Now days it is built-in camera flashes, so Kodak does not profit from wasted expendables. Ah, the good ol' days!

I have seen people using bounce flash outside and that has always been my comment...are they bouncing it off a low cloud?
I never heard anybody say it themselves though.

They are using one of those new-fangled 'Curved Light' speedlights. You just have to be in the same zip code, and the light will automatically find your subject.
