Why not split the topics?

What I'd like to see is topic titles with more information, and per your area of interest, that title could include the camera brand.

I totally agree.
I would like to see an end to ambiguous post titles.
Titles such as:

Need Help
What Lens?
How Do I?
Should I Buy This?

I just made those up but you can look through this forum and seems like every page has several titles that are even more ridiculous and do not indicate exactly what the topic is.
You should not have to click on the post to find out what they are talking about and then discover it's something you have no interest in or no info about.
All titles should indicate what they are about so that you don't need to click on it to find out.

I totally agree with having better SUBJECT titles. Personally, if I don't see enough in the title to interest me, I skip it..... Maybe I am skipping posts where I could provide some help, or where I might gain something, but who knows!?!?!?!?

I agree 100% and also to use the "search" option to find subjects that have been posted numerous times. I like the way how http://www.dpreview.com arranges their site.

I almost skipped this thread because I had no idea what the title was referring to.......LOL
I say keep it like it is. I too have learned a great deal by reading problems or tricks or tips by other camera users. If a topic does not interest me, I move on. If it is something that I know or want to know about I stop and read it. Besides if you have more forums don't you need more people to take care of those forums?

VERY good point, do disrespect to the poster, GOOD thread, but people need to think about the title as much as the content, in new we have SPS6, Sir prize, and FOUR posts SPS5,4 3 2, and Nikon to name a few

Multiple posts really could be combined into one by posters and give "interest" to a title that makes you want to look OR gives you an idea of what it is

This is exactly the reason I started the thread. When I read the list of threads, and posts, and see so many ambiguous subjects labled with the above mentioned subjects, I think of my time reading them and finding there is actually no interest, or the posts are just come on's for information, without research by the poster. When reading some of this patter I wonder how the person can afford a DSLR. How does someone write a post asking "which lens"? Then go on without telling what camera they want to put this on. This is type of question a good moderator would filter. Take a look at other forums, and see how they filter their posts.
